should we consider when ever we are choosing a diamond?
Consumers usually seek for a VS clarity as it is usually
ideal. But one should remember that, it may not be true
for fancy diamond. In this case, color should be our first
priority.
Clarity is not as important as Color. A SI graded stone
is still known as "eye clean," as its inclusions
cannot be seen under untrained, naked eye. In nature,
it is not pervasive to have stones with VS or better clarity.
Thus, they command a great price. In addition, the deeper
coloring of the diamond hinders the effect of small pinpoints
or feathers. The factor of color intensity outweighs clarity
when buying any fancy diamonds.
Clarity is not as critical, and unless inclusions are
directly on the diamond's table, otherwise it cannot be
recognized. Its sparkling and appearance will remain unaffected.
In some circumstances, inclusions may have the same color
as the diamond, making it absolutely invisible. Some even
contain crystals which exhibit much the same color as
the diamonds. This diamonds may even look more brilliant
if the light is reflected at the right angle.
